Understanding Brexit

In this episode of Beyond Your News Feed, we have decided to "cross the pond" to learn more about Brexit, the United Kingdom's historic withdrawal from the European Union following a referendum vote in June 2016. We sat down with Professor Osama Siddiqui of the History and Classics Department at PC to better understand how Brexit occurred and what it means for British history. Professor Siddiqui skillfully unravels the events leading up to Brexit and insightfully discusses what this decision means in the broader historical context of the British Empire.
